By accessing or using The Docket service ("Service") operated by The Docket ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

User Accounts

Account Creation

- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account - You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials - You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service - One account per person; multiple accounts are not permitted

Account Responsibilities

- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account - You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account - You may not share your account credentials with others

SMS and Text Messaging Consent

By providing your phone number and using our SMS features, you expressly consent to: - Receive text messages from The Docket for verification codes and event notifications - Standard message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier - You may opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying "STOP" - Verification and system messages may still be sent as needed for Service functionality

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

Prohibited Activities

- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose - Send spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content through our Service - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts - Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service - Use the Service to transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code - Violate any applicable laws or regulations - Impersonate another person or entity - Collect or harvest information about other users without their consent

Content Guidelines

- You are responsible for all content you submit to the Service - Content must not be illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or infringing - We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms

Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Integrations

Google Services

The Service integrates with Google Calendar and authentication services. Your use of Google services is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

AI Processing

We use third-party artificial intelligence services to process your content for event extraction. This processing is performed securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Service Availability

Service Provision

- We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime - The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical issues - We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time

Beta Features

Some features may be marked as "beta" or experimental. These features are provided as-is and may be unstable or incomplete.

User Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

- You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service - You grant us a license to use your content solely to provide the Service - You represent that you have the right to grant this license

Our Intellectual Property

- The Service and its technology are our property or licensed to us - You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our Service - All trademarks and service marks are the property of their respective owners

Fees and Payment

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with appropriate notice.

Future Fees

If we introduce fees: - We will provide at least 30 days' notice before implementing charges - Continued use after fee implementation constitutes acceptance of the new pricing - Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
